RAURA legal
Advertising
Last updated August 19, 2026
This policy explains how advertising can appear on RAURA, what information may be used to show relevant ads, and the choices available to people and advertisers.
Advertising on RAURA
RAURA may show ads in feeds, on profile or food pages, or in other placements we introduce later. Ads help keep much of RAURA available to people without a paywall.
Ads must be recognizable as ads. We do not allow advertisers to impersonate RAURA, Superadmin, or RAURA Foods. Official RAURA accounts are reserved and cannot be registered by other people.
Some promotions are ordinary posts from an account. Those posts still have to follow the Terms of Service. Paid placements have extra rules in this policy.
What information can be used for ads?
We may use information such as general location you added to your profile, language, device type, and how you interact with public content to decide which ads are eligible to appear.
We do not use the content of your private chats to build an advertising profile. We do not sell your private messages to advertisers.
If you interact with RAURA Foods, we may use that activity to show food-related placements, such as a nearby kitchen announcement. Order details that are only needed to fulfill food are not shared with unrelated advertisers.
Ad topics and targeting
Advertisers may choose broad topics, such as food, events, or public announcements. We limit targeting that we believe is likely to discriminate against people or exploit sensitive categories.
We may block or restrict ads about illegal products, misleading claims, adult content that is not allowed on RAURA, or political advertising that fails local disclosure rules.
You may see ads that are not a perfect match. Relevance systems can be wrong. You can hide an ad where that control is offered.
What advertisers can see
Advertisers receive aggregated reports, such as how many times an ad was shown or clicked. They do not receive a live list of private chat messages or follower-only posts.
If you tap an ad and leave RAURA, the advertiser’s own site or app may collect information under that advertiser’s policy. Read that policy before you share more information with them.
Pages and posts you choose to make public can be seen by advertisers the same way any other visitor can see them.
Your ad choices
Where the product provides ad preferences, you can tell us topics you do not want to see. Browser and device settings can also limit some advertising cookies, as described in the Cookie Policy.
Turning off some ad personalization may mean you still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
Businesses that want to advertise on RAURA must comply with this policy, the Terms of Service, and any insertion order or self-serve ad tools we provide.
Measuring ads
We measure whether ads were delivered and whether people interacted with them so we can bill fairly and improve quality. Measurement may use cookies or similar technologies.
We may work with measurement partners. They must use information only to measure ads on RAURA and must not use it to build an unrelated profile of you.
Ads we do not allow
We do not allow ads that promote scams, malware, counterfeit goods, or illegal services. We do not allow ads that use another person’s name or image without a right to do so.
We do not allow ads that claim to be RAURA support, password resets, or giveaways from official accounts unless they are actually from those accounts.
We may reject, pause, or remove ads that violate these rules, and we may disable advertiser access.
Questions about ads
People can report ads that look misleading through in-app tools where available. Advertisers can contact RAURA through Superadmin chat or the business contact published for advertising.
We may need extra time to review an ad report because we look at the destination page, the targeting, and the account that ran it.
